These terms govern purchases from and use of the The-Ordinary online storefront.

Store eligibility and acceptance

By using this site, you confirm that you can enter a binding agreement and that the information submitted with an order is accurate. We may refuse activity that is fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or harmful to the storefront.

Products and responsible use

We aim to present skincare, body-care, hair-care, and beauty product descriptions, ingredients, specifications, prices, and images accurately. Packaging may change. Follow product labels, ingredient information, patch-test guidance, usage directions, and safety warnings. Stop use and seek qualified medical advice if irritation or another adverse reaction occurs. Site content is not medical advice and does not promise a result for every person.

Orders, prices, and taxes

An order is accepted when we confirm it for fulfillment. We may correct genuine listing or pricing errors and contact you before proceeding. Charges are in USD, and taxes are collected when required by applicable law.

Shipping, cancellations, and returns

We ship only within the United States and provide free standard shipping. Processing normally takes 1–2 business days and transport normally takes 4–6 business days. Cancellation may be requested before dispatch. Eligible returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days under the Refund Policy, including free return arrangements.

Intellectual property

Store text, graphics, layout, photographs, code, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied, sold, or commercially exploited without permission from the relevant rights holder.

Prohibited conduct

You may not interfere with the storefront, introduce malicious code, scrape restricted areas, impersonate others, misuse payment systems, infringe rights, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Service availability and liability

We work to maintain accurate and reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to losses directly connected with the affected order. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
