Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
The-Ordinary explains here what personal information we collect, where it comes from, how it is used, and the choices available to US consumers.
Information categories and sources
We may collect identifiers and contact details; billing, payment-token, and transaction information; delivery and order history; device, browser, cookie, IP, and network activity; customer-service communications; preferences; and inferences used to understand engagement. Sources include information you provide, your use of the storefront, cookies and similar technologies, Shopify and payment providers, delivery partners, fraud-prevention services, and advertising or analytics partners.
Purposes of use
We use information to operate the store, process and deliver orders, authenticate payments, prevent fraud, provide support, handle returns, improve products and site performance, personalize content, measure advertising, meet recordkeeping obligations, enforce our terms, protect users, and comply with applicable law.
Cookies, Google Ads, and advertising measurement
Cookies and similar technologies support essential storefront functions, analytics, preferences, and advertising. We may use Google Ads, Remarketing, and Conversion Tracking to measure campaigns and show relevant advertising. Browser controls can restrict cookies, although essential functions may then work differently.
Disclosure and recipients
Information may be disclosed to Shopify, payment processors, fraud-screening providers, hosting and analytics vendors, Google and other advertising partners, delivery carriers, professional advisers, regulators, and service providers acting under contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information during a business transaction or when required to protect rights, safety, or legal compliance. We do not exchange personal information for cash.
CCPA and CPRA rights
Where the CCPA or CPRA applies, California consumers may request access to categories and specific pieces of personal information, correction, deletion, portability, and information about disclosures. You may also opt out of sale or sharing used for cross-context behavioral advertising and may limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
Do Not Sell or Share and GPC
Submit a Do Not Sell or Share request by emailing hamidakhatun6373f@gmail.com. Where legally required and technically detected, we also honor a browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out for that browser or device.
Legal grounds and compliance
Our processing is based on completing transactions and contracts you request, your consent where required, legitimate operational and security interests, and compliance with US legal obligations. This policy is intended for our current US market and does not add a separate EU GDPR framework.
Data retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including transaction, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal records. Retention periods vary by data type. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Minors
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion.
